Beckmans Collage of Design
By studying Vandra Rugs' history, products and weaving techniques we have been inspired by the endless possibilities of design. We have created a concept that shows the freedom for the designers' to create their own rug. With hand made illustrations in print, on the web, and in an exhibition we have interpreted the weaving techniques. In three films we have highlighted some of the patterns' imaginative names: herringbone, diamond twill and rosepath. The films were shot at Svartsjö castle, outside Stockholm and display the rugs in different ways.
